Axiom’s impressive corrosion testing facility is class-leading. We offer a range of corrosion testing techniques from standard pot boil testing through to cyclic potentiodynamic polarization measurements. Such measurements are often used for testing and can determine if an alloy might be susceptible to stress corrosion cracking or pitting in the exposed environment.

In our facilities, we also possess three solid Hastelloy autoclaves, with our one litre autoclaves having the ability to withstand temperatures as high as 300°C.

Notably, we have a vast library of invaluable corrosion data – that has been collected over several decades by a team of experts – which can be consulted when clients are faced with difficult choices over material selection.
